Farm Tours
We’re delighted to now be running Farm Tours, so that others can come and see the inner workings of the farm, learn about off grid living, spend time in nature and meet the alpacas.
We run tours a few times a year and focus on different elements of the farm. Each tour will be different but below is a rough idea of what to expect.
Keep an eye out for our next dates.

What to Expect
We’ll begin the tour by gathering at the hub of the farm ‘The Hideout’, we’ll show you the facilities and run through a short health and safety briefing.
We’ll then head off to meet and observe some of our alpacas, learn about alpaca keeping and you can see some of their fleece.
There will be an opportunity to ask plenty of questions about these
wonderful creatures.
We’ll then take a mindful walk around our ancient woodland, stopping to enjoy our mini spring-fed waterfall and stream.
Season permitting, we’ll then visit our veggie beds to see how things are progressing in the garden.
We’ll then show you our newly planted woodland passing our bee hives enroute. As we wander, we’ll show you some basic things that we forage from nature too.
We’ll end the tour back at The Hideout where you can enjoy a hot drink and ask us any questions whilst gathered around the fire (weather permitting).
During the tour, we’ll tell you lots about the wildlife on the site and the site history too.

Please wear sensible footwear suitable for uneven ground and dress for the weather as this day takes place outdoors.
Whilst we hope someday to be a fully accessible venue, I’m afraid we don’t yet have accessible facilities and the land is uneven in places. Please let us know if you have any accessibility needs, so that we can work with you to decide if the day is appropriate.
