Private Alpaca Trekking
An exclusive opportunity to meet our walking boys, get to know them a little and choose who you'd like to take out on a personally guided trek with two options for routes.

Our boys love getting out of their paddock to meet new people, explore the land and find all the best forage and it's good for us too. The benefits of spending time in nature are well known and combining that with a walk and getting to know and spend time with your own alpaca is a real boost for our wellbeing.

What To Expect
On arrival we'll introduce you to our herd (each with their own unique personality!) and share some information about alpacas and how we take care of them. We'll also share some health and safety guidance and tips on handling and leading respectfully.

We will then match you to the most suitable alpaca for you and after a brief introduction to your alpaca in terms of name, personality and particular quirks, we'll be off!

We'll then take them on your chosen route before heading back to The Hideout where you can help yourself to a nice complimentary hot drink.

We often have cria (babies) on the farm and you'll likely get to see them during your visit.

Please wear sturdy walking shoes/boot and long trousers and dress for the weather.

Whilst we hope someday to be a fully accessible venue, I’m afraid we don’t yet have accessible facilities and the land is uneven in places. Please let us know if you have any accessibility needs, so that we can work with you to decide if the walk is appropriate.
